American Coastal Insurance Company is the largest of commercial residential property in Florida. We write condominium, homeowner association, apartment, and assisted living business through two exclusive MGAs: AmRisc Group and Skyway Underwriters. We’ve done it since 2007.

The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Coastal Insurance Corporation, publicly traded on Nasdaq under ACIC.

The Florida commercial residential book is the anchor, not the boundary. American Coastal also assumes up to 5% of AmRisc’s E&S portfolio and supports the Skyway E&S program, applying the same catastrophe underwriting discipline to adjacent specialty property classes.

Catastrophe reinsurance is built to exceed the Florida minimum, designed to meet or exceed protection levels for AM Best A-rated carriers. The tower is placed with A− or better rated reinsurers, or fully collateralized placements, plus participation in the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund.
