| The escalation of fraudulent insurance claims, in its different forms, is a serious problem to insurance companies and their honest policyholders. Reporting insurance fraud is in your best interest because it costs you and the insurance industry money. Statistics indicate that more than 10 percent of every insurance dollar paid goes to make up for insurance claims fraud. |

American Coastal maintains an SIU (Special Investigation Unit) to specifically review claims for fraud. If you have reason to believe that insurance fraud has been committed, do your part by passing that information along to us.
